He was predeceased by: his parents, Lenwood Thomas and Dorothy Nicholson Nichols of Virginia. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Sue Nichols; his children, Cliffton Thomas Nichols of Gore and Dana Ann Nichols of Gore; and his sisters, Barbara Tinsman (Melvin) of Middletown, VA and Donna Nichols of Stephens City, VA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
