It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley G. Ambrose of Great Bridge, Virginia, born in South Mills, North Carolina, who passed away on August 25, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Roy L. Ambrose, Sr.; her siblings, Marie, Russell, Tom, David, Lucille, Joyce, Bernice and James Gower; and her grandson Chris.

She is survived by: her children, Royce (Kenny), James (Paula) and Leon (Jeana); her grandson Greg Kasmark; and her great grandchildren, Bella, Brent, Elijah and Abby. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and children.
