He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Chmura and Doris Chmura. He is survived by: his wife Kathryn Gregg of Rochester, NY.; his children, Christopher Chmura (Beth) of Auburn, AL, Elizabeth Chmura of New York, NY, Emily Chmura of Rochester, NY and Luke Chmura (Natasha) of Seattle, WA; his granddaughters, Lily, Ella Chmura of Auburn, AL and Twyla Ransom-Chmura of Seattle, WA; and his sisters, Carol Prabucki (Ed) of Buffalo, NY, Jean Sciara (Jim) of Syracuse, NY, Mary Chmura (Paul) of Olympia, WA, Joann Chmura of Buffalo, NY and Sue Bassett (John) of Denver, CO. He is also survived by Numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews and close friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Rochester Institute of Technology/National Technical Institute for the Deaf (RIT/NTID) in Jim Chmura's name.
