Michael James Goeller Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael James Goeller of Great Falls, Virginia, who passed away on June 25, 2022 at the age of 54. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Michael Goeller managed and owned Goellers Art and Office Supply in McLean, VA for over 30 years. In 2013 the McLean Greater Chamber of Commerce voted Goellers the Retailer of the Year award based on local customer votes. Goellers was started by Edith and James Goeller in 1962. Goellers had two locations in the 1980-1990 in Fairfax and McLean and offered custom framing and engraving as well as art and office supplies.
Michael was a friendly to everyone he met. An avid sports fan as well as player, Michael especially loved playing football, tennis, golf and frisbee golf. Mike was an accomplished drummer and artist who took up drawing and painting later in life, but proved to be just as talented as his artistic family. Michael leaves behind a legacy in the McLean community as well as with the large Goeller family and his many friends. He will be missed greatly.
