He was predeceased by : his daughter Samanthia Roach; and his parents, Louise Roach and Henry Lee Roach. He is survived by : his children, Richard E. Roach (Kimberly) of Brooksville and Rebecca Bruce of Keysville, VA. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Bethel Christian Church (2471 Bethel Church Rd, Green Bay, VA 23942).
