He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Marion Gripp and Veone Evelyn Gripp. He is survived by: his wife Janice Gripp; his son Adam Gripp of Roeland Park, Kansas; his stepdaughters, Tracy Peters of Madison Heights, Virginia and Melissa Lang of Madison Heights, Virginia; his grandchildren, Lauren (Carter), Brennan, Grayson, Easton and Kennedy; and his sisters, Linda Hohman of Edwardsville and Carol Allred (Hal) of Weatherby Lake, Missouri.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
