He was predeceased by: his parents, Wright J. June Ward and Mildred; his wife Mariellen; and his foster daughter SGT Caryn Reynal. He is survived by: his sons, Elijah (Jennifer) of Staunton, VA, Micah (Amy) of Charlotte, NC and Jordan (Jazmyn) of Mosely, VA; his foster sons, Josh Dudley and Adam Mays; his grandchildren, Samuel Mark, John Warner, Matthew John, Cameron Micah, Zuriel Ruben, Grace Elizabeth, Kira Williams and Iris Mercer; his brothers, Avery Ward (Jane) and Jeffery Ward (Kathryn); and his siblings-in-law, Howard Roberts and Deborah Reynal (David). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and countless friends.
