He is survived by: his significant other Laurie Freeman Thomas; his son Greg Thomas (Karen Rogers) of Greenville; his grandsons, Eli, Mark and Aaron Lucas (Erin); his son Alan Thomas (Nikki) of Greenville; his grandchildren, Ariel, Tyler, Erin and Logan; his partner's children, Andrew Dobbs (Lynn) of Morgantown, Matthew Dobbs (Samantha) of Greenville, Zach Dobbs (Eve) of Dublin and Virginia; his siblings, Ralph Thomas (Gleda) of Greenville, Herbert Thomas (Nancy) of Union and Betty Ruth Fleshman (Sam) of Union; Ava, Grace, Alex, Ivy and Zachary.
