Selda Jane King Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 9, 2025, at the age of 89, Selda Jane King of Greenville, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raleigh Holland Sprouse and Irene Elva Persinger (Herron); her daughter Deborah Kaye King; and her brothers, Gene and Larry Sprouse.
She is survived by: her children, Charles William "Bill" King, Jr. of Raphine, Susan Traylor (Kevin) of Greenville, Connie Jacobs (Curtis Bosserman) of Greenville and Fran King of Greenville; her sisters, Pat Murrell of South Pasadena, FL and Susan Harold of Wilson, NC; her grandchildren, Brandon Traylor (Chandra), Benjamin Traylor, Brittany Traylor Davis (Jason), Devin King (Danielle), Haylee Jacobs (Cody Shifflett) and Sahara Traylor; her great grandchildren, Stillman Davis, Langston Davis, Huxley Davis, Owen Traylor, Annie Traylor, Riggs Traylor, Karl Nelson and Garrett Nelson; and her close friend Sugie VanFossen.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel (230 Frontier Dr, Staunton, VA 24401).
