He was predeceased by: his parents, Burness Carlton and Loretta Nadine Thomas Clemmer; his sister Ann Marie Clemmer; the mother of his children Mildred "Millie" Carmon Brown Clemmer; his son Matthew Daniel Clemmer; and his brother Timothy Collins Clemmer.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Rosemary Robinson Clemmer; his children, Joseph Thomas Clemmer (Jeremy "Jims" Hinkle) and Rachel Kathleen Clemmer (Dustin Skillman); his sister Anita Kay Clemmer; his cousin Peggy Knowles; and his friend Tom Pollard.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Henry Funeral Home (1030 W Beverley St, Staunton, VA 24401). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
