He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Lavoie and Amelia Mary Kulicoski Lavoie. He is survived by: his wife Dianna Simpson Lavoie; his children, Jacqueline Scolpini (Ryan) of Gretna, Jean-Paul Lavoie (Cathy) of Gibsonville and Daniel Lavoie (Sarah) of Bethesda, Maryland; and his grandchildren, Hayden, Gabrielle, Courtlyn, Molly and Ellen.
