She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry "Jack" Burk Allen and Pearl Burks Tucker; her husband Harry Pete Irby; her sister Nellie Burton; and her son-in-law Mark Purdy.
She is survived by: her children, Dale Irby (Jerrea) of Hurt, Ricky Irby (Norina) of California, Marke Irby (Amy) of Williamsburg, Tammy Hubbard (Mark) of Martinsville and Wanda Purdy of Gretna. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
