She was predeceased by: her parents, Artis Powell and Ilee Powell; her son Jimmy Johnson; and her brother Artis Powell Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Reverend Bert Johnson; her daughters, Cynthia Fontaine (Rodney) of Lakeland, FL, Nancy Vasser (Gregory) of Pittsville, VA and Deborah Fitzgerald (Kenny) of Blairs, VA.; her brother Herman "Nig" Powell; her grandsons, Brandon Fontaine (Sarahann), Josh Fontaine (Marimarie), Brad Fontaine (Nicole), Daniel Vasser, Sr., Travis Fitzgerald and Sean Fitzgerald (Brooke); and her great grandchildren, Seth, Gabriel, Ethan, Caleb, Lilah, Joel, Roman, Kingston, Silas, Asher, Daniel, Jr., Kirsten and Kyleigh. She is also survived by loving mother, and a mama known to spoil her grandchildren.
