He is survived by: his wife Minister Shirley Wimbish; his sons, Jessie Jr. (Yvette) of Gretna, Virginia and Eric Wimbish of Gretna, Virginia; his stepchildren, Joseph Bobbitt (Deloris) of Chatham and Ann Wiles of Raleigh; his children, Cynthia, Regetta, Debra, Jerome and Angie (Lloyd); and his siblings, Barbara Jean Lee of Whitsett, Shirley Larkins of Whitsett, Edith Moore (Carver) of Clarkton, Annie Petty of Washington, DC, Sharon Tucker (Gordon) of Gretna, Linda Dawkins (Henry) of McLeansville, Sarah Smith (Larry) of Richmond, Virginia and Sam Wimbish (Rita) of Vinton, Virginia.
