He was predeceased by: his parents, Ned Haley and Annabell Logan Haley; his siblings, Howard, Edward, Remus Haley, Emma Whetstone, Rachel Myers, Patti Watson, Louise Hubbard and Carolyn Hodnett; his son-in-law Alfred Walton; and his former spouse Oderal Smith Haley.

He is survived by: his wife Naomi Pannell Haley of Gretna, Virgnia; his daughters, Debra Blake (Jimmy) of Bedford and Connie Walton of Danville, Virginia; and his sister Thelma Barksdale of Gretna, Virginia. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
