She was predeceased by: her parents, Zebedee Shelton and Maude Taylor Shelton; her husband Earl Owen Rowland; and her siblings, Acie Shelton, Marvin Shelton, Ollie Shelton, Oscar Shelton, Edrie "Pete" Shelton, Eliza Merricks, Myrtle Mayhew and Louise Witcher.
She is survived by: her siblings, Ned Shelton of Gretna and Nora Violet Osborne of Chatham. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Gretna (502 Main St, Gretna, VA 24557). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers Margaret had requested for people to go visit an elderly person or make a donation to the First Baptist Church of Gretna, P.O. Box 339, Gretna, Virginia 24557.
