He is survived by: his wife Cindy Caricofe Hooke; his sister Iris Anne Hooke of Monterey; his sisters-in-law, Nancy C. Swisher of Staunton and Mary C. Rainey of Staunton; his nephews, H. Olen Swisher (Megan) of Staunton and Carson Rainey of Staunton; his niece Shea B. Harris (Bryan) of Charlottesville; and his close friends, Valerie Tyree and Virginia Cook.
