He is survived by : his son Kwamane Valentine (Rachel) of Altavista, Virginia; his granddaughter Paisleigh Valentine; his brother Acie Valentine of Gretna, Virginia; and his friends, Roy Graves, Percy Anderson, Charles Rice, Linwood "Shorty" Logan, Harry Oakley, Keefe McKenzie and Clyde Faulkner. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
