He is survived by: his daughters, Jackie Hawkins (Chris) of Buffalo, Charnissa Jackson-Thompson (James) of Warrenton, Virginia and Chane Jackson of Warrenton, Virginia; his sisters, Wanda Brown of Greensboro, Roxie Clark (Roy) of Gretna and Joan Smith (Henry) of Rustburg, Virginia; his grandchildren, Chandler Hawkins of Buffalo and Trey Thompson of Warrenton, Virginia; his former wife Joan Jackson of Greensboro; and his aunt Willie Ed McGhee of Danville. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
