He was predeceased by: his parents, Calvin Thomas Hodges, Sr. and Alice Ashwell Hodges; his wife Louise Hendricks Hodges; and his brother-in-law Joe Puryear. He is survived by: his sons, Edward "Ed" Hodges (Carol) of Hurt and Jerry Hodges of Gretna; his sisters, Barbara Puryear of Washington, NC, Jeanette Pickrel (Freddie) of Forest and Shirley Miear (Ronnie) of Forest; his granddaughter Kristen Hodges; and his great grandchildren, Natalie Thomas, Remi Hodges, Wyatt Hodges and Everlee Kelley.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Lebanon United Methodist Church.
