He was predeceased by: his parents, John Calvin Kelley, Sr. and Nettie Jane Kelley (Atkins); the mother of his children Geraldine Kelley Bright (Mace); his daughter Lori Ann Tuennermann (Kelley); and his siblings, John Calvin Kelley, II, Mary Snelson (Kelley), Dorothy Hanger (Kelley), Betty Sandy (Kelley) and Ruth Sandy (Kelley).
He is survived by: his spouse Pat Kelley (Shifflett) of Grottoes; his daughter Tina Campbell (Ned) of Greenville; his son-in-law Steven B. Tuennermann of Middlebrook; his granddaughters, Allie Norman (Bryce) and Emma Campbell (Noah Hatcher); his stepgrandchildren, Kelley Hartness (Jared) and Michael Tuennermann (Mackenzie); and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Anna Hartness and Dani Hartness.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Mount Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery (708 Holly Ave, Grottoes, VA 24441).
