It is with sadness that the passing of Linda Kay (Barnhart) Link (Grottoes, Virginia) is shared. Linda, born on August 5, 1946, passed away on October 16, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Linda will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honor Linda by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Linda is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Linda’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jennings D. Barnhart and Carmen Barnhart (Claytor). She is survived by: her husband James G. Link of Waynesboro, Virginia.; her daughter Jodi Link (Josh Grundy) of Grottoes; and her grandchildren, Isabella Myrick (Bella) and Kailen Grundy. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Johnson Funeral and Cremation Service (201 Dogwood Ave, Grottoes, VA 24441). Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location.
