He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse L. Furrow and Estella Furrow (Wiggins); his former wife Mary Ruth Furrow (Crisp); his son Mac Furrow; his son-in-law Richard Reynolds; and his siblings, Agnes Huff, Ruth Atkinson, Dorothy Sparks, Margie Hawks, Gertrude Furrow, Jesse, William, Ray and Larry Furrow.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy "Dottie" Furrow (Bean); his children, Debi Reynolds-Rothausen (Richard), Billy Furrow (Kecia), Del McCormick (Mary), Chandler McCormick (Marsha), Cindy Shifflett (Glenn) and Tina Craig (George); and his siblings, Clifton Furrow (Shirley), Paul Furrow and Velma Gilliam (Bobby). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; thirty-two great grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Due to Malcom's love for children, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
