We announce the death of Clifford Thomas of Grundy, Virginia, who passed away on September 11, 2026, at the age of 85. He was predeceased by: his parents, Brady Thomas and Virginia Coleman Shultz; his wife Fern Ratliff Thomas; and his sisters, Patsy Sue Coleman, Joanna Pendergrass and Sandra Kay Turner.
He is survived by: his siblings, Wanda Hutchinson, Judy Thomas of Bristol, TN, Brady Thomas (Bonnie), William Stuart Thomas (Vicki), Johnny Thomas (Shirley) of Abingdon, VA and Wayne Thomas (Wilma); and his niece Denise Looney of Vansant, VA. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
