She was predeceased by: her parents, Roscoe Junior Stiltner and Louise Stiltner (Coleman); and her siblings, Franklin Stiltner, Kenny Stiltner, Francis Stiltner and Loretta Yates.
She is survived by: her children, Joe Yates (Katie) of Raven, VA and Valerie Hale (Billy) of Grundy, VA; her grandchildren, Ervin Hale (Cheyene), Amy Hale, Courtney Hale (Jason Coffey), Joey Yates Jr. and Kristina Yates; her great grandchild Kaleb Ray Wayne Coffey; her siblings, Rosetta McCoy of Vansant, VA, Emeretta Stacy (Stanley) of Rockhouse, VA, Gail Ratliff of Grundy, VA, Glennis Stiltner of Grundy, VA, Ernie Stiltner of Grundy, VA and Elmer Stiltner of Grundy, VA; and her close friends, Thelma Owens and Miss White.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 6:00 PM and on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Grace Baptist Church (27071 Riverside Dr, Grundy, VA 24614). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 7:00 PM, on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 7:00 PM and on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at the Dry Fork Cemetery.
