She was predeceased by: her parents, Toy Johnson and Marie Dye Johnson; her husband Kenneth Junior Hankins; her siblings, Nila Fraley, Brenda Epling, Harold, Eddie, Lester, Ershel, Gary and Burley Johnson; her grandsons, Jessie Ward and Jason Ward; and her son-in-law Bill Reynolds.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah Reynolds of Statesville, NC and Allen Hankins (Lora) of Richlands, VA; her siblings, Haletta Keaton (Danny) of Big Rock, VA, Dolly Mullins of North Carolina and Harry Johnson (Tammy) of Big Rock, VA.; her grandchildren, Brandon Hankins (Faith), Kensey Hankins (Megan) and Dr. Elizabeth Reynolds; her great grandchildren, Jasmine Jones, Aleea Hankiins, Toy Hankins, Kai Hankins and Kashton Hankins; and her great great grandchild Raelyn Grimball. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Shortridge-Ramey Funeral Home (1021 Six And Twenty Mile Br Rd, Grundy, VA 24614). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
