It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lily Mae Dotson (Grundy, Virginia), born in Hurley, Virginia, who passed away on March 24, 2022, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Ed Wolford and Eunice Marie Wolford (Lee); her brothers, Berlin Wolford and Larry Don Wolford; and her grandson Joseph Paul Hurley.
She is survived by : her husband Bill Dotson of Paw Paw, KY; her children, Ralph Dotson (Myrtle Dingess) of Phelps, KY, Charles Edward Dotson (Mechelle) of Hurley, VA, Kathy Dotson (Mike Estep) of Hurley, VA, Michael Dotson (Rose) of Hurley, VA, Shavonne Hurley (Mozee) of Taylorsville, NC and Eric Dotson of Hurley, VA; her grandchildren, Robert Francis (Ceaira), Zach Dotson (Ashley), Keaton Dotson, Kasie McClanahan (Bradley), Michael Douglas Dotson, Noah Hurley and Gabriel Hurley; her great grandchildren, Rylee McClanahan, Hunter Francis and Ella McClanahan; and her siblings, Ann Wolford of Hurley, VA, Phyllis Lester of Pound, VA and Elza Wolford of Hurley, VA.. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
