She was predeceased by: her parents, Arnold Smith and Viola Smith (Dotson); her husband Eugene Hogston; her sister Roberta Smith Swiney; and her son Charles Leslie Hogston.
She is survived by: her daughter Arnella Lunsford (Cindy); her grandsons, Jonathan Hogston and William Woodard; her great grandchild Trigger Lee Claybaugh; her sister Charliece Fierbaugh; her sister-in-law Delphia Davis; and her cousin Sharon Lester. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Grundy Funeral Home (22208 Riverside Dr, Grundy, VA 24614). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at the Greenhills Memory Gardens.
