She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Church and Ethel May Brazzell Church; her husband James Thomas Perkins; her grandson Jason Matthew Smith; and her siblings, Linda Saunders, Dorothy Tedder, Mack Church, Charles Church and Curtis Church.
She is survived by: her children, J. P. Smith of Nathalie and Wanda S. Saunders (Phillip) of Halifax; her stepson James Perkins (Joyce); her grandchildren, Amelia Clements of Phillip, Saunders, Jr. and Jessica Perkins; and her great grandchildren, Avery and Sadie Clements.
