She was predeceased by: her parents, Julian Wade Anderson and Susanna Owen Anderson; her husband Marvin Tracy Barker; her former husband W. L. "Billy" Moss, Jr.; and her sister Marguerite Anderson Crews.
She is survived by: her children, Sheila Moss Garmon (Clayton) of Halifax and Chadwick Lee Moss of Clover; her nephew Michael Crews (Brenda) of Carrollton; her niece Susan Crews Daniels (Tim); her stepdaughters, Deborah Sizemore (Jim) of Nags Head, Susan Butterworth of Richmond and Betty Schutte-Box of Richmond; and her caregivers, Lawanda Chandler, Rosa Crews, Virginia Martin, Shanita Younger and Serita Windsor.
