It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mario Jerome Mills of Halifax, Virginia, who passed away on April 19, 2026, at the age of 53, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his nephew Chase LaRue; and his grandparents, Mattie, Adolphus Young, Billy and Louise Mills.
He is survived by: his parents, Brenda Young Hancock (Dean) of Halifax and Bert L. Mills (Ann) of Halifax; his siblings, Sabrina LaRue (Troy) of Halifax and Troy Mills (Heidi) of Hanover; his nieces and nephews, Abigail Mills (Alex Vitello), Dylan Mills, Hunter Mills (Kiara) and Colt LaRue (Raegan); and his stepsiblings, Megan Jones, Tracey Powell and Steve Powell (Rhonda).
