He is survived by: his wife Sharon Heerdt; his children, Darwin Heerdt (Dianna) of Tennessee, Donald Heerdt of Ohio, Ronald Heerdt of Ohio, Michelle Krupkowski (Stephen) of Buckroe Beach, VA, Amanda Cole (Mark) of Poquoson, VA, Rodney Dudley (Melissa) of Williamsburg, VA, Jeffrey Hendley (Natasha) of Hallwood, Kathryn Pemberton of Kansas and Margaret Hendley of Kansas; and his brother Richard Heerdt (Verna) of Massachusetts. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
