It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rodney Olson of Hallwood, Virginia, who passed away on October 2, 2025, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rodney Kallman Olson and Jennie Mary Olson; his close friend Andrea Carter; his nephew Nicholas Olson; and his pet Harley.
He is survived by: his children, Rodney Olson Jr. of Clarkston, WA, Heather Sorvillo (August Sorvillo) of Cameron, NC and Amber Laden (David Laden) of St. Paul, MN; his siblings, Laura Segler (Dale Segler) of Grant, FL and Alan Olson of Vero Beach, FL; his grandchildren, Brooklyn, Rodney, Josephine, Alexa, Caleb, Liam, Audrey, Nathaniel and Dean; his nephews, Alan Olson and Michael Olson; and his niece Amanda Olson.
