He was predeceased by: his son Shon Applegate Jr.; his father Harry Mell; and his siblings, Michael, Shane Booth, Kelli and Ruthie Applegate.
He is survived by: his wife AnnMarie Applegate; his children, Patrick Applegate (Rachel) and Cierra Applegate; his mother Susan Mell; his sisters, Misty Maldonado (Jeff) and Jessica Bell (George); his parents-in-law, Ed and Mary Jordan; and his close friend Aaron Perry (Rebecca). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hall Funeral Home (140 S. Nursery Ave., Purcellville, VA 20132).
