She is survived by: her son Minister James David Bethea, Jr. (Belinda); her grandchildren, Caretta G. Bethea and Jamaul Bannerman (Martha); her sisters, Angie Williams (Rivers) and Eunice Gilchrist; her daughters, Bertha Perry and Shirley Stephenson; and her grandson Justin Hendrick. She is also survived by three great grandchildren.
