She was predeceased by: her husband William "Bill" Midgette; her parents, William Anderson Walls and Margaret Towles Walls; her siblings, Rebecca Tollison, John Walls, James Walls, Malcolm Walls and William Walls; and her husband Donald Lacey Bird of Dallas, TX..
She is survived by: her children, William Keith Midgette (Lori) of Newport News, VA, Vanessa M. Napier (Dennis) of Chesapeake, VA and Mark Midgette (Sharon) of Corolla, N. C.; her grandchildren, Matthew Midgette (Hayley), Elizabeth Haemmerlein (Phil), Christopher Midgette (Crystal), David Napier, Amy Napier, Peyton Midgette and Madison Midgette; her great grandchildren, Audrey Haemmerlein, Thomas Haemmerlein and Hazel Midgette; and her stepchildren, Douglas Bird (Kathi), John Bird, Mary Auchterlonie (Keith) and Brian Bird (Lori).
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home & Memorial Park (2551 N Armistead Ave, Hampton, VA 23666).
