She was predeceased by: her brother Ralph Keith Tate. She is survived by: her parents, Ralph R. Tate and Celya Tate; her children, Brittany Tate, Terry Dexter Bonner Jr. (Janeica), Niya Randolph, Alysha Ferguson and Deandre Perkins; her grandchildren, Brenden K. Tate, Jaxson Hyman, Bellamy Hyman, Terry D. Bonner III, Jada Noble and Jaden Noble; and her friends, Linda Lawton, Sydelle Freelon Watts, Kim, Georgette Alston and Rennie (Martoyne "Kat" Jones). She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, May 13th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Smith Brothers Funeral Home (545 E Mercury Blvd, Hampton, VA 23663). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
