She was predeceased by: her parents, John Smith and Noni Finch Smith. She is survived by: her son Thomas Smith (Toni); her husband Winston S. Jones; her siblings, Merry S. Lucas, Margaret S. Wright, Robert Smith, Richard Smith, John S. Smith Jr. and William Smith; her siblings-in-law, Wilhelmina Smith, Toshiko Smith, Sarah Smith, Cornelius Lucas and Edward "Big Sarge" Bryant; her children, Antonio Winston Jones and Monique Antoinette "Toni" Jones Smith (Tommy) of Hampton; her sister Virginia Bryant of Fayetteville; and her siblings-in-law, Fannie F. Jones (Virginia) of Portsmouth and Walter M. Stith (Virginia) of Ettrick. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and grand nieces and nephews.
