She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Lloyd Starnes; her children, Virginia (Martha S. Bauer), David R. Starnes, Nancy S. Reed (Wayne) and Thomas L. Starnes (Marylee); her grandchildren, Eric Bauer, Laura Martin (Keith), Justin Atkins (Karla), Charles Atkins, Ashley Atkins, Jason Aukland (Angel), Lee Starnes and Erin Beason (David); and her great grandchildren, Trenton Shaffer, Mason Bauer, Mary Atkins, Virginia Beason, Henry Beason and Daniel Beason.
