He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Redman Deans and Ruby Tilghman Deans Corbett (Deans); his stepfather Robert Corbett; his brothers, Elisha Elmer "Boots" Deans, Robert "Bobby" Deans, Don Raby Deans and William "Bill" Deans; and his grandsons, Nathan and Paris.
He is survived by: his children, Archie L Deans Jr. (Kari Deans) and Terry L Deans; his wife Kathy F Deans; his siblings, Gerald Deans, Cathy Payne and Belinda Mitchell; and his grandchildren, Hayden, Christopher and Daniell. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Hayden Smith Funeral Home (245 S Armistead Ave, Hampton, VA 23669).
