With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Barbara Jean Tromly of Hampton, Virginia, born in Charlotte, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 6, 2026 at the age of 79. She was predeceased by: her son Christopher of Jerome's Catholic Church; her sister Marie; and her parents, Frederick Muller and Jean Muller. She is survived by: her husband Col. Gene A. Tromly; her children, Michelle (Eric), Brian (Sarah) and Kevin (Samantha); her grandchildren, Ethan, Emily, Hunter, Addison, Christian and Fletcher; and her siblings, Fred, Richard, Michael, Robert, Karl, Lois and Dan. She is also survived by her family, her many friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Barbara's memory may be made to St. Joseph's Catholic Church or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
