It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barlett H. Young Jr. of Hampton, Virginia, born in Newport News, Virginia, who passed away on December 13, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Barlett Young and Virginia Young; and his sister Beverly Davis. He is survived by: his wife Patricia A. Young; his children, Cynthia D. Young (Larry) and Michael R. Young (Michele); his sister Gail A. Hanson (Mac); his grandchildren, Megan Byers, Ariel Cook (David), Haley Giovannetti (Chelsea) and Roger Byers; and his great grandchildren, Mason Byers, Ava McBee, Mickey McBee, Lailah McBee, Scarlett McBee and Stella Grace Cook. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
