It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernice Everette of Hampton, Virginia, who passed away on July 27, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jennie Mae Porter McQuarters and White of Murfreesboro, N. C.; and her son Winfred D. Everette. She is survived by: her children, Willie M. Everette, Phyllis L. Pugh, Wayne L. Everette and Wade M. Everette; her siblings, Pearl Ewing (Lonnie), Christine Wyatt (Donald) and Jerome McQuarters; and her grandchildren, Chanda Everett-DeVillasee (Charnier), Donte Everette, Duane Grady, Ebony Everett, Maurice Everette (April), Monica Everette, Tracy Pugh, Wade Everette Jr. (Tashira), Westley Everette (Vickie), Michelle Chandler and LaSena Chandler. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
