She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Cooper and Ruby Cooper; and her brothers, James of Nashville, Thomas of Nashville, Charles of Nashville and Henry of Nashville.
She is survived by: her children, Toney Cooper (Stephanie) and Theresa Coleman (Emanuel) of Hampton, Virginia.; her sister Ruby Mills of New York; and her children, George, McKinley and Tarsha Cooper. She is also survived by great grandchildren, a host of cousins, relatives, friends.
