We are sad to announce that, on July 22, 2022, at the age of 32, Calvin Leon Hockaday Jr. of Hampton, Virginia, born in Newport News, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his sister Candace Hockaday; his grandparents, Doris Simpkins, Rudolph Hockaday and Rosa Hockaday; and his uncle Wendell Hockaday.

He is survived by: his children, Audrianna Hockaday-McMichael and Leon Hockaday-McMichael; his parents, Calvin Hockaday, Sr. and Valerie Hockaday; his siblings, Christopher Hockaday and Kimberly Hockaday; his uncles, Rudolph Hockaday, Jr. (Valerie), Michael Hockaday (Sherri) and Dwight Simpkins; his aunt Linda Harding; and the mother of his children Brittany McMichael. He is also survived by cousins, other relatives and friends.
