Christine P. Maculley Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Christine P. Maculley of Hampton, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 7, 2025 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Edna, Harvey Charles, Catherine and Eric H. Petterson; her parents, Eric "Pete" Petterson and Florence Petterson; and her brother Eric H. Petterson III.
She is survived by: her husband George J. Maculley Sr.; her daughters, Rebecca Birtcher and Susan Tomblin (Dan); her stepsons, George Maculley Jr. (Michelle) and Michael Maculley (Gwen); her grandchildren, Clarice (Hunter), Colin, Leah, Heather and Lily; her great grandchildren, Aubrey and Benjamin; and her sisters, Charlene Hunt and Irene Farrell. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear family friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Presbyterian Giving Catalog – "From Survival to Self-Reliance", a charity close to Christine's heart.
