It is with sadness that the passing of Dan Leroy Knipple of Hampton, Virginia is shared. Dan, born in York, Pennsylvania, passed away on October 15, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Dan will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor Dan by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though Dan is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Dan’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He is survived by: his wife Michelle B. Knipple; and his siblings, Debra Golden (Pat) and David Knipple (Kim). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A reception will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Roman Catholic Church (100 Harpersville Rd, Newport News, VA 23601).
