He was predeceased by: his father Donald Lee Inge; and his father-in-law Joe Woody Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Marianne Woody; his mother Gabriele Denninger Inge (Denninger); his children, Nick Inge (Kristen), Alexandria Marie Woody and Jeremy Inge (Tiffany); his sisters, Debbie Inge (Mark Buchardt) and Mathilde Inge (Mark Fackler); his brothers-in-law, Joe Woody Jr. (Cheryl) and Mike Woody (Angie); his mother-in-law Sue Woody; and his grandchildren, Valorie and Blair Inge. He is also survived by nephews and nieces.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Foundation for Navy Seal Veterans. This was a charity near and dear to Joe's heart.
