Donald left this world on November 29, 2024 at the age of 88, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his siblings, William Metzger, Joyce Metzger and Ruth Pigoni. He is survived by: his wife Gloria Metzger; his daughters, Karen Murray (Bill) and Yvonne Neff (Pete); his grandchildren, Mark, David, Katherine, Amanda, Naomi and Brandon; his great grandchildren, Dylan, Sunny, Ameliah, Baylee, Wesley, Sadie, Oaklynn, Parker, Easton, Rob and Emerson; and his sister Cathie Reilly. He is also survived by two children, six grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Shriners Hospital for Children in his name, a charity that Don himself supported for many years.
