She was predeceased by: her parents, J. Hyman Dixon and Hattie Dixon; her husband Levia F. Swain; her children, Patricia Allen, Marty Swain and Michael Swain; her granddaughter Leah; and her siblings, Nell Roebuck, Gladys Winstead, Shirley Elks and James Dixon.
She is survived by: her sons, Frank Swain (Sabine), Greg Swain (David Pugh) and Ben Swain; her sister Elizabeth Respess; her grandchildren, Lynn, Ashley, Katye, Jesse, Angie and Tracy; her children-in-law, Dan Allen and Deborah Swain; and her sister-in-law Eva Jean Dixon. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Memorial Baptist Church, Sanctuary Restoration Fund, Hampton, VA.
